Seattle Sounders FC News Release
Following last week's road loss to the Chicago Fire, Seattle Sounders FC (10-8-2, 32 points) returns home Saturday to take on the Colorado Rapids on the Xbox Pitch at CenturyLink Field (7:00 p.m. PT / Q13 FOX, Univision-Seattle, KIRO Radio 97.3 FM, El Rey 1360 AM). Coverage for today's match begins at 6:30 p.m. PT and is being televised locally on Q13 FOX with Ross Fletcher and Kasey Keller on the call, as well as Jackie Montgomery, Taylor Graham and Steve Zakuani providing pre and post-match analysis. A radio simulcast is airing on KIRO Radio 97.3 FM with Jason Rantz, Wade Webber and Pete Fewing contributing pre and post-match radio coverage.
Additionally, tonight's match is being broadcast live in Spanish via Univision-Seattle, with Jaime Mendez and Diego Arrioja on the call. El Rey 1360 AM is also airing the match, as fans throughout Western Washington can hear "Zuper" Mario Rodriguez and Felipe Maqueda on the call tomorrow, with pre-match coverage beginning at 6:30 p.m. PT.
Tonight marks the third and final matchup of the season between Seattle and Colorado (4-6-9, 21 points), who currently sits at the bottom of the Western Conference table. Seattle is currently riding a five-match winning streak against the Rapids and has yet to lose in nine meetings at CenturyLink Field (8-0-1). Sounders FC's 13 wins over Colorado is the most against any opponent in club history.
