COMMERCE CITY, COLO. - Sounders FC (7-9-8, 29 points) fought from behind twice against the Colorado Rapids (11-12-3, 36 points) on Saturday at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in a back-and-forth 3-3 draw. Cristian Roldan recorded Seattle's first goal - his fourth of the season - with Albert Rusnák providing the assist. After going down 3-1 in the 56th minute, Dejan Joveljić got Seattle back to within a goal of equalizing, before Caden Clark leveled the match at three goals apiece in second-half stoppage time. Both of the latter goal-scorers were acquired during the summer transfer window, with Clark recording his debut strike for Sounders FC tonight and Joveljić adding this third goal in Rave Green.

Brian Schmetzer's side now returns to the Pacific Northwest to host Real Salt Lake on Wednesday, September 23 on the Emerald Queen Casino Pitch at Lumen Field (6:30 p.m. PT / Apple TV, 950 KJR AM, El Rey 1360 AM).

With the result, Seattle sits in 13th place in the Western Conference at time of writing with 29 points (7-9-8).

The draw extends Sounders FC's unbeaten run to five matches (0-0-5).

Cristian Roldan's goal in the 49th minute was his fourth of the season, all in league play. He also recorded an assist on Caden Clark's late equalizer, his fifth in all competitions in 2026.

Dejan Joveljić scored his third goal for Seattle since joining the club on August 25. Including his time with Sporting Kansas City, he now has 11 goals in 24 appearances in 2026 MLS regular-season play.

Making his Sounders FC debut as a late second-half substitute, Caden Clark scored his first MLS regular-season goal since 2024 to force the 3-3 draw. Clark becomes the 11th player in club history to score in their debut for the Rave Green.

Albert Rusnák recorded two assists to give him a team-leading 10 this season, all in MLS play. He now has nine career regular-season assists against Colorado - three coming with Seattle - the most among active players. Roldan ranks second with seven career assists against the Rapids.

Sebastian Gomez assisted Joveljić's strike, his third of the season in all competitions.

Seattle ended Colorado's streak of six straight home matches without conceding a goal.

Saturday marked the 40th meeting between the two sides in MLS regular-season play, with Seattle leading the series 24-8-8.

Jackson Ragen entered the match in the 60th minute, his first action since August 19 against Austin FC where he suffered a knee injury.

Seattle next hosts Real Salt Lake on Wednesday, September 23 on the Emerald Queen Casino Pitch at Lumen Field (6:30 p.m. PT / Apple TV, 950 KJR AM, El Rey 1360 AM).
