Whittaker Secures Brace, Rapids Split Points with Seattle

The Rapids completed their first draw at home in 2026, tying with Seattle Sounders 3-3 at DICK'S Sporting Goods Park in MLS Matchday 27.

Designated Player Morgan Whittaker secured both his first goal with the club and a brace on Saturday night.

Midfielder and 2025 MAC Hermann trophy winner Donavan Phillip also scored his first goal with the club for the first team. Phillip previously scored three goals with Rapids 2.

Forward Sayed Abu Farkhi made his first start for the Rapids on Saturday night, playing 63 total minutes in the attack.
