Tonight, the SeaWolves look to snap a five-game losing streak and a seven-game road losing streak as they take on the Portland Sea Dogs (Boston Red Sox) at Hadlock Field. Last night, the SeaWolves bats were once again silenced by Drake Britton as he shut out the SeaWolves in the opening game of the series. Since reaching a season-high 13 games over .500 on May 27, the SeaWolves have lost 11 of their last 12 games and are just three games over .500. Erie is 1.5 games behind first place Richmond and a half game ahead of third place Harrisburg...Matt Crouse takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his 16th appearance, 10th start and first appearance against the Sea Dogs. Crouse tossed a solid outing in his last start against New Hampshire on June 7. In the game, he shut out the Fisher Cats for five innings, allowing two hits with three walks and a strikeout in five innings of work. Erie lost the game 2-0...RHP Charlie Haeger takes the mound for Portland making his eighth start. He took a loss in his last start at Akron allowing six runs on seven hits with two walks and eight strikeouts in six innings...LHP Ryan Robowski takes the mound for Erie in game two making his ninth appearance and fourth start. Robowski has not allowed a run over his last six outings (8.2 IP). He tossed a scoreless inning on June 7 in his last appearance against New Hampshire...RHP Jeremy Kehrt takes the mound for Portland making his eighth appearance and first start. Kehrt has not allowed a run over his last three appearances. He tossed two scoreless innings on June 8 at Akron.
