
SeaWolves Unveil 2013 Schedule

(Erie, PA) - With three games remaining in the 2012 season, the Erie SeaWolves, Double-A Affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, are pleased to release their 2013 schedule.
The team opens the 2013 campaign at Jerry Uht Park against the Altoona Curve (Pittsburgh Pirates) on Thursday, April 4. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m.
The 2013 schedule includes 33 weekend dates, nine Monday Buck Nights and home games on both Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends. The schedule also features three UMPC Health Plan Education Days (May 15, 22 and 23) and four mid-week matinee games (April 10 & 24, June 20 and July 24). While a detailed promotional schedule will be released at a later date, the team has announced that it will celebrate Independence Day with fireworks following its game on Wednesday, July 3.
"The SeaWolves would like to thank the team's fans and partners for all their support in 2012," remarked SeaWolves President Greg Coleman. "This season may be drawing to a close, but it's exciting to consider all the fun that awaits us in 2013."
Excluding mid-week matinee games and holidays, Monday-Thursday home games will be played at 6:35 p.m. in April and May and 7:05 p.m. from June through September. In April, Friday games will be played at 6:35 p.m. and Saturday games will be played at 1:35 p.m. All remaining Friday and Saturday games will be played at 7:05 p.m. All Sunday games will begin at 1:35 p.m. with the exception of a special evening game on Sunday, September 1 beginning at 5:05 p.m.
2013 will be the 19th season of Erie SeaWolves baseball, the franchise's 15th season as a member of the Double-A Eastern League, and the 13th season of the club's affiliation with the Detroit Tigers.
