STORM INJURY REPORT AND TRANSACTIONS

The Storm waived center Mandisa Stevenson on July 6.

UPCOMING OPPONENTS

The Storm lost the season series opener to Washington 52-64 at the MCI Center on June 10, dropping Seattle to 3-5 all-time against the Mystics. Six of the eight meetings have been decided by five points or less, including a four-overtime thriller won by the Mystics on July 3, 2001.

The Storm and Silver Stars split a pair of meetings earlier this summer, with both teams winning on their home courts. Lauren Jackson's 21 points paced the Storm in a 79-51 win on May 29, but San Antonio rebounded with an 81-69 win at home on June 30. The Storm had won four straight against the Silver Stars by an average margin of 20.25 points prior to the June 30 loss, and trails 10-8 in the all-time series.

Seattle has dropped both meetings with the Sparks this season, and five in a row overall. The Storm fell 50-68 on Opening Day and dropped a 65-76 decision in Los Angeles on June 24, allowing the Sparks to open up a 13-6 margin in the all-time series.
