Reading Fightin Phils News Release
Earlier today, the Reading Phillies announced plans for the 2011 season, and are now giving fans a first-look into the 2011 schedule, as well as a chance to renew season tickets and mini-plans without any pricing increase. Renewals kick-off on Tuesday, August 3, and all fans can take advantage of the R-Phils special 2010 pricing by locking into a great deal at FirstEnergy Stadium from now until the end of the 2010 season, as well as the chance to receive an exclusive free gift.
"2010 has been a great year so-far here in Baseballtown," said Director of Ticket Operations Mike Becker. "Now, we want to give fans a chance to renew for 2011, and we are offering them an exclusive gift, and 2010 pricing. With just 17 home dates left this season, we felt like it was the right time to get fans thinking about next season."
Fans interested in renewing season tickets and mini-plans for the 2011 season can stop by a ticket plan renewal table next to the Advance Ticket Window at FirstEnergy Stadium beginning on Tuesday, August 3. Renewals will also be taken by phone at 610-375-8469 and online at www.readingphillies.com.
All fans who are interested in renewing their mini-plans, however, will want to do so quickly, as mini-plan seating is done in the order they are received, so those that renew their mini-plans first will get the best seats. Fans who renew now will also get an exclusive free gift, which includes the choice of an autographed baseball or other great Reading Phillies memorabilia. The offer for the free gift, however, is available in-stadium only.
The R-Phils will open the 2011 season on the road, but just one week later, they will make their season debut at home on Thursday, April 14 at 7:05 p.m., which is the beginning of a six-game homestand. After hitting the road, the club will return home on Friday, April 29 for a weekend series, which will conclude with two 11:05 a.m. Education Days (Wednesday, May 4 and Thursday, May 5).
The annual 9:35 a.m. Morning Game will be played on Thursday, June 2 in the finale of a three-game series. In all, Reading will host three 11:05 a.m. games, along with one 9:35 a.m. game, and one 12:05 p.m. game.
Overall in 2011, the R-Phils will have eight home games in April, 16 in May, 17 in June, 14 in July, and 16 in August. Reading's last home game of 2011 will be on August 28 at 1:05 p.m., as they conclude a four-game series. The final games of the season will come on the road in 2011.
Today's schedule release features home games and times only. An announcement with the full 2011 schedule is expected to be announced prior to the conclusion of the 2010 season.
Single-game tickets for the 2010 season, presented by Pepsi, are on sale now and can be purchased in person at FirstEnergy Stadium, by calling (610) 375-8469 or by visiting www.readingphillies.com. Fans can also add the all-you-can-eat Deck Buffet to any ticket for only $11.
