2004 Awards Presented
The Harrisburg Senators announced today the winners of the 2004 end of season awards sponsored by the Capital Area Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame. The awards, presented prior to Saturday's game with Akron, recognize accomplishments by Senators players this season, both on and off the field.
Fans visiting Commerce Bank Park recently, voted on the Fan Favorite honor. The remaining awards were determined by the Senators Coaching Staff, the players and the Senators Front Office. The Leadership Award was presented to the player who not only showed leadership qualities on the field, but also in the clubhouse and the dugout.

Team Most Valuable Player: Larry Broadway Most Competitive Player: Josh Labandeira Fans Favorite: Josh Labandeira Carl J. Dodaro Leadership Award: Jason Brown Mort Rosen Community Service Award: Josh Labandeira
Labandeira received the Community Service award this year as he served as the organizer of many of the Senators player appearances. He also attended a number of functions on his own and served as a co-chair for the recent Senators' Run/Walk for Epilepsy.
