Altoona Curve News Release

(ALTOONA, PA) – For the fifth consecutive season, the Altoona Curve has set a single-season attendance record at Blair County Ballpark. Saturday night's crowd of 7,758 pushed the club past the single-season record of 365,376 fans set during the 2003 season. With five regular season home games remaining, the Curve has drawn 372,288 fans in 62 home dates for an average of 6,005 fans per night.

If the franchise draws a total of 27,712 fans over the final five home games—an average of 5,542—the franchise will reach the amazing milestone of 400,000 fans for the season.

Not only has the Curve now surpassed the single-season attendance record, but along the way several other attendance marks have fallen. Over the course of the 2004 season, Curve fans have set attendance records for three-date series (23,411), four-date series (30,914), six-date homestand (38,259) and seven-date homestand (44,488), and of the top 15 crowds in club history, eight have

occurred this season.

The first-place Curve will continue its season-ending seven-game homestand Sunday night at 6:05 p.m. against the Reading Phillies at Blair County Ballpark.
