The Sea Dogs and Binghamton Mets continue their six-game series on Tuesday night at Hadlock Field...The two teams split a twinbill on Monday night.

NEWS AND NOTES

THAT'S A SPLIT : The Sea Dogs and Binghamton Mets began a six-game series on Monday night by splitting a doubleheader, tonight, they play game three of their series at Hadlock Field...The 'Dogs are 12 games over .500 for the second time this season and have not been 13 games over .500 since they were 36-23 in 2008 - last time they were 14 games over .500 was July 19, 2006 (55-41)...LHP Brian Johnson earned the win in his Double-A debut on May 3rd at NYSEG Stadium, and makes his fourth start of the season with Portland.

UP AND DOWN : RHP Hansel Robles (2-2) fired six-shutout innings in game one, leading the Binghamton Mets to a 5-0 win over LHP Henry Owens (4-3)...1B Matt Clark went 2-for-2 with a three-run homer...In game two, the Sea Dogs clubbed out 13 hits and beat the B-Mets 8-2...C Mike Brenly hit his first career grand slam and 3B Travis Shaw added a solo-homer, his eighth of the season...RHP Mike McCarthy (3-2) fired six strong innings on four hits and one run to earn the win...1B Stefan Welch finished 3-for-4 with two runs scored...DH Mookie Betts, SS Deven Marrero, 2B Heiker Meneses and RF Henry Ramos each had 2 hits.
