ALMOST ONE IN THE BOOKS : Portland and Reading conclude their opening series of the season on Sunday afternoon at FirstEnergy Stadium...RHP Mike Augliera makes his Double-A debut and just the 42nd professional appearance...Augliera's last start was a win in Game 2 of the 2013 Mills Cup Championship at Potomac...RHP Perci Garner toes the rubber for the Fightins in his season debut.

BOTH TEAMS HAD CHANCES : RF Kelly Dugan snapped a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring single in the seventh inning, leading the Fightin Phils to a 3-2 win...1B Cameron Perkins (2-for-4) opened the frame with a double off losing pitcher Nate Reed (0-1)...Reading's bullpen worked four scoreless on two hits and five strikeouts...Despite the win, the Phils stranded 15 runners on base, going 3-for-17 with RISP...Portland had two on in the ninth, but Kenny Giles fanned the side in the ninth, including Mookie Betts on a 99 mph fastball to end the game.
