SAINT JOHN, NB --- Saint John Sea Dogs Head Coach/General Manager Jacques Beaulieu announced today that the team has made several roster moves.

Veteran defenseman Pascal Amyot has been traded to Halifax, while forwards Stephen Walker, Kyle Dilosa, and Matthew Stoddard have been released.

"We feel that the moves we have made today will go a long way towards strengthening our team - both this season and in the years to come," said Beaulieu. "We wish all of our departing players the best of luck in their future endeavours, and we thank them for their contribution to the Sea Dogs."

Amyot, 18, has been traded to Halifax in exchange for the Moosehead's top pick at the 2009 CHL Import Draft as well as a fourth round selection at the 2010 QMJHL Entry Draft. Originally selected by Saint John in the second round (20th overall) of the 2006 QMJHL Entry Draft, Amyot appeared in 149 games during his tenure in the Port City.

The Porter's Lake, NS native skated in 41 games for Saint John this year, recording 1G-1A-2P. Originally selected in the second round (35th overall) of the 2006 QMJHL Entry Draft, Stoddard's MJAHL rights are owned by the Bridgewater Lumberjacks.

Dilosa, 17, appeared in 34 games for Saint John this season, amassing 1G-2A-3P in addition to 6PIM. The Cheticamp, NS native was originally selected by the Sea Dogs in the fifth round (79th overall) of the 2008 QMJHL Entry Draft.
