
Mooseheads acquire Pascal Amyot

The Halifax Mooseheads have today acquired 18-year-old defenseman Pascal Amyot in a trade with the Saint John Sea Dogs, Mooseheads' General Manager Marcel Patenaude has announced.
Amyot, born Jan. 05, 1990 at Ste-Foy, QC, Saint John's second round (20) selection in the 2006 QMJHL Draft, has five goals and seven assists with 12 penalty minutes in 38 games with Saint John this season.
In addition to Amyot, Halifax will receive the Sea Dogs' first round selection in this year's CHL Import Draft.
In return, the Mooseheads will send to Saint John their first round pick in the 2009 CHL Import Draft and their fourth round pick in the 2010 QMJHL Entry Draft.
