
Scotts Miracle-Gro #60 Ford & Kyle Petty Coming To Cats' Stadium June 26

Manchester, NH- The New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, are pleased to announce that the Scotts Miracle-Gro #60 Roush Fenway Racing Ford, driven by Carl Edwards in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, will be on display for fans to see from 4-8pm outside the main entrance at Merchantsauto.com Stadium for the Friday, June 26, 7:05pm game between the Fisher Cats and the Portland Sea Dogs, Double-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. In addition, former NASCAR driver Kyle Petty, now a NASCAR analyst for Turner Network Television (TNT), which airs NASCAR Sprint Cup Series coverage, will be a guest that same game.
"This is a great opportunity for our fans to enjoy two of New Hampshire's true summer passions, Fisher Cats baseball and NASCAR racing, in one night," said Fisher Cats President/General Manager Rick Brenner. Scotts Miracle-Gro is the primary sponsor of the Roush Fenway Racing #60 Ford for 16 races this season, including Saturday, June 27, when Edwards will be behind the wheel at New Hampshire Motor Speedway for the Camping World RV Sales 200 presented by Turtle Wax, at 3pm.

Petty, son of racing legend and seven-time NASCAR champion Richard Petty, will be making Merchantsauto.com Stadium one of the stops on his Ponytail Express Tour, where he travels by motorcycle to all six of TNT's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races, including Pocono, PA; Brooklyn, MI; Sonoma, CA; Loudon, NH; Daytona Beach, FL and Chicago, IL. Petty will be traveling on his motorcycle from Sonoma, CA, to New Hampshire with Rutledge Wood of SPEED in his side car. Petty will be signing autographs from 5:30pm-6:30pm, he will throw out a ceremonial first pitch and he and Wood will lead fans in singing Take me out to the Ballgame during the seventh-inning stretch. Petty and Wood's appearance at the game will be featured on NASCAR.COM. On Sunday, June 28, Petty will provide analysis for TNT's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series LENOX Industrial Tools 301 from Loudon with pre-race coverage beginning at 12:30pm and the green flag dropping at 2:00pm.

Kyle Petty has been part of the racing scene for nearly 30 years. As a driver, he posted eight career victories, 51 top-five finishes and 172 top-10 finishes. In addition to being the son of the most famous driver in NASCAR history, his grandfather, Lee Petty, and his late son, Adam Petty, were also NASCAR drivers. Kyle was named 'Most Caring Athlete' by USA Weekend in 2004 and 'Person of the Year' by NASCAR Illustrated in 1999 and 2000. Petty has received numerous accolades for his charitable contributions, including the Victory Junction Gang Camp, which he founded in 1999 in honor of Adam.
