Scott Wray Makes Surprise Visit to Local School with President's Cup

June 7, 2010 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Rapid City Rush News Release

(Rapid City, SD) - Last Friday, Rush player/assistant Scott Wray made a surprise visit to Corral Drive Elementary School to share the Ray Miron President's Cup with the staff and students. The visit is just one of numerous appearances by Rush players around the Rapid City area, featuring the President's Cup.

The generosity of time was greatly appreciated by Corral Drive Elementary School Principal, Gregg McNabb.

"A number of our students and staff are season ticket holders and were present the night Wrayzer scored the goal and the Rush won the Championship. To be in the presence of the President's Cup will be an experience these students will not soon forget. It was awesome because some of the adults were just as excited as the kids. To take the time to share with our community is just a reflection of the character of Scott Wray and the entire Rush organization. The Rapid City Rush has truly become part of our community!"
