Scorpions Reeder Welcomes New Addition

[ RIO RANCHO, N.M.]-New Mexico Scorpions forward Konrad Reeder and his wife Katie welcomes their son Wyatt Lee to the world on November 6. Both baby and mother are doing very well.

The Scorpions organization congratulates the entire Reeder family on their addition to their family. Fans in New Mexico will be excited to Scorps head coach Randy Murphy is already negotiating Wyatt's contract.

"We hope to have the contract worked out for the 2025-26 season," said Murphy. "With both his parents outstanding athletes we don't want to take the chance that another team finds his talent before we do."

Wyatt came into the world at 6:33 p.m. weighing seven pounds and measuring 20 inches. He has already taken after his father by sporting a similar hair style.

Fans have two chances to see the Scorpions on home ice this weekend. Friday night the Amarillo Gorillas will visit the Santa Ana Star Center. The first 1,500 people through the gates will receive Scorps Trading Cards courtesy of Turtle Mountain Brewing Company.

Saturday the Scorpions will host their rivals from Arizona on Cibola High School Night. Following the game head to Turtle Mountain Brewing Company for an all ages post-game party. Both games drop the puck at 7:15 p.m.
