Schremp Back With Falcons

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today that center Rob Schremp has been reassigned to the Falcons by their National Hockey League affiliate, the Edmonton Oilers. The Falcons also announced that left wing Jean-Francois Jacques has been recalled by Edmonton.

In four games with the Falcons this season, Schremp has collected two goals and three assists for five points. Schremp was the game's first star on October 12 in a 6-4 Falcons' win against Portland, while also netting the game-winning goal in overtime against Manchester on October 7. Schremp was recalled by the Oilers on October 13 and made his Edmonton debut this year on that same evening.

Jacques has played in four games with Springfield collecting one goal and two assists. Jacques made his Falcons debut on October 6 against Worcester, before being recalled to Edmonton on October 9. Jacques was reassigned back to Springfield on October 13.

The Falcons return to action on Saturday, October 20 when they head to Albany to take on the River Rats, followed by a Sunday matinee at Portland. Springfield remains in first-place in the Atlantic Division with a record of 4-2 through six games.
