Aki Seitsonen Sent To Las Vegas

Moline, IL - The Quad City Flames announced today that center Aki Seitsonen has been loaned to the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL. Seitsonen did not appear in any of the Flames' first three regular season games.

He returns to the Wranglers after playing 59 ECHL games with the squad last season. Seitsonen recorded 32 points (14 goals and 18 assists) during his 2006-07 stint in Las Vegas. The Riihimaki, Finland native played 13 games last season with Calgary's AHL affiliate in Omaha. During his time in Nebraska, he scored a goal and added three assists for four points.

The Quad City Flames are on the road tonight in Peoria. Fans in the Quad Cities can follow the action beginning at 7:00 p.m. via the b2 Networks Viewing Parties at Bleacher Bums in Davenport (3811 N. Harrison Street, across from Lujack's) or Parkside Grill and Lounge in Moline (2307 5th Avenue). Both establishments will offer special food or beverage discounts for Flames fans during the broadcast. The game can also be heard on the new radio home of the Quad City Flames, WYEC 93.9 FM. The radio broadcast begins at 6:35 p.m. with the Hayman's Ace Hardware Pre-Game Show. After the game, stay tuned for the Kinetic Fitness Post-Game Show.

On Sunday, the Flames visit Van Andel Arena for their first match-up with the Grand Rapids Griffins. Game time is 3:00 p.m. central time. The contest can be seen at Bleacher Bums or Parkside Grill and Lounge. The radio broadcast begins at 2:35 p.m. on WYEC with the Hayman's Ace Hardware Pre-Game Show. After the game, The Kinetic Fitness Post-Game Show is on the air.
