
Schepke Returns to Checkers

HARTFORD, April 9, 2009: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the team has released forward Matt Schepke from his Amateur Tryout (ATO) agreement and that Schepke has returned to the Charlotte Checkers of the ECHL.
Schepke, a rookie out of Michigan State University, made his AHL debut last night for the Wolf Pack, and was +1 with three shots on goal in the Pack's 4-3 win at Manchester.
The next action for the Atlantic Division-leading Wolf Pack is tomorrow night, Friday, April 10, as they visit the Lowell Devils. That game, which faces off at 7:00, will be carried live on the 50,000-watt AM powerhouse WTIC NewsTalk 1080.
The Pack return home to the XL Center for "Fan Appreciation Night", the last game of the regular season, this Saturday, April 11th. Faceoff is 7:00, and the first 3,000 fans into the game will receive a free Wolf Pack rally towel. It's also the last game for $10 adult tickets, courtesy of Click It or Ticket.
Pack tickets are available at the XL Center box office and all Ticketmaster locations, including Macy's at the Buckland Hills Mall and at the Westfarms Mall. Tickets may also be charged by phone at 1-800-745-3000., and on-line at www.hartfordwolfpack.com.
