
Schedule to be Released Wednesday: Utah Adds New Rival

West Valley City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies will release their 2011-2012 ECHL schedule Wednesday. The schedule will feature a new regional rival as the league welcomes the Colorado Eagles to the Western Conference.
The Eagles, who are based in Loveland, located north of Denver and just outside of Fort Collins play at the Budweiser Events Center, which is 486 miles from Maverik Center. The Eagles will be Utah's third closest regional rival behind Idaho (345 miles) and Las Vegas (424 miles).
Utah will face Colorado 13 times in 2011-2012 - seven times at Maverik Center and six times in Colorado.
Earlier, Utah announced that their 2011-2012 home and season opener will take place Friday, October 14 at 7:05 p.m. Ticket packages for the 2011-2012 season are on sale now at the Utah Grizzlies offices at Maverik Center or by calling (801) 988-PUCK. Visit utahgrizzlies.com for more information.
