AMARILLO, TX - A player and a coach who have spent a number of years with the same team highlight Episode 37 of Puska on Pucks, The Original Internet Hockey Show. Listen to the latest episode at www.puskaonpucks.com.
Join host Denis J. Puska as he visits with Fort Wayne Komets defenseman Guy Dupuis who recently announced his retirement after 21 seasons of playing the game. Dupuis will talk about his career and fondness for the Central Hockey League's Komets where he spent a total of 14 years.
Puska will also spend time with Bakersfield Condors Head Coach Marty Raymond who returns for an eighth season with the ECHL franchise. Raymond, who is the second longest tenure coach in the league, will talk about his success in Bakersfield and the recent addition of Assistant Coach John Olver.
The NHL Stanley Cup Final begins on Wednesday between Boston and Vancouver and Puska will have his thoughts on the series and who he predicts will raise the cup. Ice Chips News and Notes recaps a busy week of hockey headlines including ownership issues in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and two coaches being signed to contract extensions.
