Las Vegas Wranglers Announce 2011-12 Home Game Schedule

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today its 2011-12 home game schedule. The team will open at home against the Ontario Reign on Friday, October 21 at the Orleans Arena which is being billed as "The Last Professional Hockey Game on Earth." The promotion coincides with an Oakland-based radio personality's prediction of the Rapture on that same date.
Expanding on the success of the team's annual Midnight Game, the Wranglers have scheduled two, the first falling on Tuesday, December 27 at 11:59 pm, and the second on Sunday, February 19 at 11:59 pm that will end in the early morning hours of the Presidents' Day holiday.
The Over 18 game returns for the 2011-12 season on Tuesday, December 6 at a special start time of 9:00 pm and Regrettable Tattoo Night returns on Saturday, March 24.
The team says that recurring promotions will be a focal point in 2011-12, including the return of the popular post game Skate with the Team events to follow the Sunday games of November 13, February 12 and March 18, all with 2:05 pm starts. The standard game times will remain at 7:05 pm.
The upcoming season sees the addition of the Colorado Eagles, formerly of the CHL. Colorado makes its first appearance in Las Vegas on Thursday, October 27 and the Wranglers host its newest rival in the season finale weekend of March 30 and 31.
The Las Vegas Wranglersé are the ECHL affiliate to the National Hockey League's Phoenix Coyotes and the American Hockey League's San Antonio Rampage.
2011-12 season seat packages are on sale now at (702) 471-PUCK. The Wranglers play all 36 regular season home games at the Orleans Arena, located adjacent to the Orleans Hotel and Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana Avenue.
