HOUSTON, Texas - The Houston Aeros, locked into second place in the West Division, will face the third-place Peoria Rivermen in the 2006 West Division Semifinals, the first portion of the Calder Cup Playoffs. Houston will host Game 1 Friday at 7:35 p.m. at Toyota Center, followed by Game 2 Saturday at 7:35 p.m. Click here or call 1.866.GO.AEROS for Calder Cup Playoffs ticket information. West Division Semifinals Houston (W2) vs. Peoria (W3) Game 1 - Peoria at Houston, Friday, April 21, 7:35 p.m. Game 2 - Peoria at Houston, Saturday, April 22, 7:35 p.m. Game 3 - Houston at Peoria, Monday, April 24, 7 p.m. Game 4 - Houston at Peoria, Wednesday, April 26, 7 p.m. *Game 5 - Houston at Peoria, Thursday, April 27, 7 p.m. *Game 6 - Peoria at Houston, Saturday, April 29, 7:35 p.m. *Game 7 - Peoria at Houston, Monday, May 1, 7:35 p.m. * - If necessary
The Aeros went 6-4-0-0 versus Peoria in the regular season, with a 4-1-0-0 home mark and a 2-3-0-0 road mark. After winning the first game at Carver Arena, Houston lost three of the next four. At home, the Aeros were dominant, winning the first four meetings by a combined 22-6 margin before falling 3-1 in the season series finale on April 2.
