AHL announces suspensions

April 15, 2006 - American Hockey League (AHL) News Release


SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced that Chicago Wolves right wing Billy Tibbetts has been suspended indefinitely, pending league review, as a result of his actions during Friday's AHL game vs. the Milwaukee Admirals.

Tibbetts will miss at least Chicago's game tonight (Apr. 15) vs. Houston.

The American Hockey League also announced that Chicago Wolves right wing Francis Lessard has been suspended for one (1) regular-season game as a result of his actions during Friday's AHL game vs. the Milwaukee Admirals.

Lessard received an automatic one-game suspension as a result of being assessed an instigator penalty within the last five minutes of regulation on Friday night.

He will miss Chicago's game tonight (Apr. 15) vs. Houston.
