APPALACHIAN POWER PARK (Charleston, WV) - Due to inclement weather, tonight's Lexington Legends game against the West Virginia Power has been suspended in the top of the second inning, with the Power leading 2-0. The game will resume tomorrow, May 20 at 12:05 p.m. with Sunday's regularly scheduled game set to follow the conclusion of the contest.

West Virginia took the lead in the bottom of the first inning on a two-run homer by Deon Stafford. Lexington's Brewer Hicklen drew a leadoff walk in the top of the second before heavy rain forced the suspension of play.

The game will resume with a runner on first base and nobody out in the top of the second inning, and the Power leading 2-0. Sunday's normally scheduled game will only be seven-innings, while tonight's game will still take the full nine innings to complete.

The Legends, a Class A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals and member of the South Atlantic League, play all home games at Whitaker Bank Ballpark in Lexington, Kentucky. For ticket information, call (859) 422-7867 or visit LexingtonLegends.com.
