Santa Cruz Warriors Drop Los Angeles D-Fenders

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - The Santa Cruz Warriors defeated the Los Angeles D-Fenders 122-95 Friday night.

Santa Cruz was led by Justin Holiday, on assignment from the Golden State Warriors, who had 26 points. James Michael McAdoo scored 24 points and grabbed 8 rebounds, while Elliot Willliams logged 16 points and dished out 4 assists. Ognjen Kuzmic, also on assignment from Golden State, grabbed a team-high 14 boards.

Los Angeles was paced by Manny Harris who scored 28 points and had 6 rebounds. Roscoe Smith recorded a double-double with 22 points and 18 rebounds, while Naadir Tharpe scored 14 points and tallied 5 assists.

The Warriors outshot the D-Fenders (50%-42.7%), held the edge on rebounds (54-48), and tallied more assists (32-22). Santa Cruz had more steals (13-11) and committed fewer turnovers (15-25), while each team had 6 blocked shots.
