The Spikes beat the Crosscutters 5-1 Sunday night at Susquehanna Bank Park at Historic Bowman Field in the next to last meeting between the two clubs in 2014.
Cord Sandberg hit his sixth homer of the season with one out in the first inning to give the Cutters a 1-0 lead. It was the last time the Cutters scored on the night
Cutters starter Edubray Ramos went the first four innings scattering five hits and five strikeouts.
The Cutters conclude the regular season tomorrow at 1:05 p.m. at home against State College.
