SPOKANE, Wash. - Tyler Sanchez hammered a two-run home run over the left field fence in the bottom of the ninth to cap an exciting back-and-forth game with a 4-2 victory over the visiting Hillsboro Hops in front of 4,699 fans. It was Father's Day & Prostate Cancer Awareness Day Game presented by Reliable Parts, Rock 94 1/2, 700 ESPN and Family Guide.

Dylan Moore led off the ninth by reaching on an infield error, Hillsboro's fourth of the game. Sanchez was 0-for-3 before his heroics gave the Indians their second win of the young season.

Nick Green made a solid Spokane debut on the mound. In five innings of work, the 7th-round 2014 draft pick allowed three hits and struck out two batters. He allowed the Hops' lone run. Luis Parra earned the win, his second of the season, with a scoreless ninth inning.

Carlos Garay made the defensive play of the game in the top half of the seventh. Hops catcher Nate Irving lined into an unassisted double play as Garay snagged the liner and doubled off Trevor Mitsui.

Darius Day started in center after a day off, collecting two more hits to push his average to .364. Moore went 1-for-4 with a double and two runs scored.

The Indians return to Avista Stadium, tomorrow, Monday, June 22nd for Garage Sale & Smokey Bear Night. The game will be presented by Gottcha Covered, Wildland Fire Agencies, Spokane's GReatest Hits Key 101 and 1050 The KEY. First pitch is at 6:30 PM, and can be heard on SportsRadio 1510 KGA.
