San Manuel Stadium to Play Host to CIF Southern Section Championship this Saturday

San Bernardino, CA - For the second consecutive year, San Manuel Stadium will play host to the Southern Section CIF Baseball Finals this Saturday. This year's edition features three local schools as the Kaiser Cats, Wildcats of Redlands East Valley and the Murrieta Mesa Rams have all made their respective championship games. Game times for the quadruple-header are set for 10:00am, 1:00pm, 4:30pm and 7:30pm. Gates at San Manuel Stadium open at 9am.

The 10:00am game is for the Division Four Championship and pits the Kaiser Cats (27-3) against the Breakers of Laguna Beach High School (19-12). The Cats reached the championship game by defeating Sonora High School, Ramona High School, Santa Fe High School and Montebello High School. The Breakers made it into the championship game with victories over Savanna High School, Patriot High School, California, and St. Bonaventure.

The 1:00pm game is for the Division Three Championship that features Redondo Union (30-2) going up against Woodbridge High School (23-7) from Irvine, CA. The Sea Hawks made it to the championship game by knocking off Wlison/Hacienda Heights, La Salle, Culver City and Arnold Beckman. The Warriors reached the finals via wins over Lancaster, San Dimas, Bishop Amat and Palm Desert.

The Division Two Championship game will take place at 4:30pm and features a match up of Redlands East Valley High School (23-7) and South Hills High School (25-7). The Wildcats made their way through to the big game by defeating Trabuco Hills, Gahr, La Mirada and Dos Pueblos. The Huskies punched their ticket with victories over Mayfair, Paramount, Foothill and Damien.

The 7:30pm game will match Murrieta Mesa High School (26-7) against Harvard Westlake High School (25-8) for the Division One Championship. The Rams got there with victories over Lakewood, Esperanza, Orange Lutheran and West Ranch. The Wolverines reached the championship game with wins over J.W. North, Vista Murrieta, Cypress and JSerrra Catholic.
