SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Gulls, coming off a big overtime win in Long Beach Saturday, look to continue their dominance over the Bakersfield Condors when the two Pacific Division rivals meet at the ipayOne Center this evening. San Diego is a perfect 5-0-0 against Bakersfield this season.

SERIES HISTORY: The Gulls and Condors have met five times this season with San Diego holding a 5-0-0 series edge. The teams square off two more times during the regular season, both in Bakersfield.

San Diego owns the all-time series match-up, posting a 93-20-7 record against its Pacific Division rival. The Gulls are 51-6-4 all-time against the Condors at the ipayOne Center.

LAST HEAD-TO-HEAD MEETING (JAN. 13 VS. BAKERSFIELD): Grady Moore scored his first goal of the year, helping the Gulls remain unbeaten against the Condors with a 6-3 victory. Moore's power-play score at the 14:25 mark of the second period turned out to be the game-winner for San Diego. Steve Hildenbrand and Pierre-Luc Sleigher added a goal and two assists apiece for the home team, which got a multi-point night from four players. All-Star Jesse Bennefield also contributed a goal and an assist, while Mark Wires notched a pair of helpers in only his second game for San Diego. The Gulls improved to a perfect 5-0-0 against the Condors this season.

GULLS UPDATE: San Diego (18-15-4) enters the day third in the Pacific Division with 40 points, one behind the second-place Long Beach Ice Dogs and 12 back of the front-running Fresno Falcons... The Gulls are seven points ahead of the fourth-place Condors, but Bakersfield has four games in hand... San Diego has one game in hand on Long Beach... The Gulls have won three of their last four games and are 17-10-4 in their last 31 games overall (since starting the season 1-5-0)... During the last 12 games, the Gulls have killed 73 of 83 penalties (88 percent)... They have scored seven short-handed goals during that span... San Diego is 10-6-3 at home...

PLAYER NOTES: Hildenbrand had his six-game point streak snapped last night, however he has 32 points (12g, 20a) in his last 26 games... Richard Keyes has 31 points (12g, 19a) in the last 27 games... Bennefield has 29 points (15g, 14a) in the last 19 games... Sleigher has points in nine of the last 11 games and has 17 points in that span (6g, 11a)... Tyler Weiman has won seven of his last 10 decisions and has stopped 326 of 352 shots in that span (.926 save percentage)... Tom Lawson has won two straight, stopping 71 of 76 shots (.934 save percentage)...

BAKERSFIELD UPDATE: Bakersfield (14-14-5) starts the day fourth in the Pacific Division with 33 points, seven behind the third-place Gulls and eight behind the second-place Ice Dogs... The Condors, however, have played four fewer games than San Diego and five fewer games than Long Beach... Bakersfield broke a four-game winless streak last night with a 3-0 home win against Victoria... The Gulls are 5-0-0 against the Condors this season, outscoring them 30-11 (21-4 in the last three meetings)... Bakersfield is 10-4-3 at home and 4-10-2 on the road...

TRANSACTIONS: Rookie Rob Flynn signed yesterday... Alex Kim, still recovering from a broken collar bone, was transferred to the 30-day injured list... Aaron McKenzie was placed on the seven-day IR... Kelly Askew (broken foot), David Svagrovsky (tear in finger), Guillaume Fournier (concussion), Andy Thompson (recovering from wrist surgery) and Alex Rogosheske (torn ACL) also remain on the injured list...
