SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Gulls announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has released forward Zac Larraza from his professional try-out (PTO).
Larraza, 23 (2/25/93), appeared in 12 games with San Diego this season, five during his most recent PTO, collecting 1-3=4 points and four penalty minutes (PIM). The 6-2, 195-pound forward has appeared in 24 AHL games this season with Portland, Milwaukee and San Diego, recording 3-5=8 points. A native of Scottsdale, AZ, Larraza has 13-7=20 points with 10 PIM and a +15 rating in 23 games with the ECHL's Manchester Monarchs this season.
