Weekly Rewind

Tuesday, Feb. 23 - PENGUINS 1 vs. Hershey 4

Carter Rowney, Sahir Gill, and Tom Kostopoulos combined for their team's lone goal. The Penguins allowed their first penalty shot goal of the season.

Friday, Feb. 26 - PENGUINS 3 at Portland 2 SO

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton captured its first shootout win of the season. Both Dominik Simon and Kael Mouillierat had a goal and an assist in regulation and scored in the shootout.

Saturday, Feb. 27 - PENGUINS 2 at Springfield 5

Mouillierat lit the lamp once again for his third point in two games, and Jean-Sébastien Dea scored 20 seconds into the third period to snap a 12-game scoreless streak.

Sunday, Feb. 28 - PENGUINS 2 at Providence 3

Rowney and Simon doubled the Penguins' shorthanded goal total on the year in one game with goals in the first and third period. Tristan Jarry made a career-high 47 saves, 28 of which came in the opening frame.

The Week Ahead

Friday, Mar. 4 - PENGUINS at Lehigh Valley

PPL Center has been a building where Wilkes-Barre/Scranton has enjoyed much success. The Pens are 7-1-1-1 all-time at PPL Center including four shutout victories.

Saturday, Mar. 5 - PENGUINS at Hershey

The race for first place continues at Giant Center as the Penguins and Bears still have seven head-to-head meetings remaining this season.

Sunday, Mar. 6 - PENGUINS vs. Hershey

The Penguins return home after five-straight road games for the second game of a back-to-back with the Bears.

- Tom Kostopoulos is three games away from becoming the fourth person in history to play 600 games in both the NHL and AHL.

- NHL trade deadline acquisition Dustin Jeffrey has already played in 182 games for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. He is fifth on the club's all-time points list (154), third in assists (102), and first in shorthanded goals (11).

- Tristan Jarry's 47 saves on Sunday fell one short of the franchise record for saves in a game set on Feb. 18, 2000.

- Jean-Sébastien Dea's next game will be his 100th in the AHL.

- This upcoming weekend's road slate is the last time Wilkes-Barre/Scranton will play more than one away game in a row.
