Flames Assign Tyler Wotherspoon to Stockton

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames announced today that they have assigned defenseman Tyler Wotherspoon to their American Hockey League affiliate, the Stockton Heat.
Wotherspoon, Calgary's second round pick (57th overall) in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, played six games for Calgary where he averaged 14 minutes in ice-time and was a +3. The 22-year-old has also skated in 40 games for Stockton this season and he has four assists and 10 penalty minutes.
