THIS WEEK'S GAMES

Tuesday, Dec. 4 vs. Rockford IceHogs AT&T Center, 7:30 p.m. (CT)

The Rockford IceHogs (12-5-1-2) make their way to the Lone Star State for the first time this season as they prepare to faceoff against the Texas Stars on Wednesday, Dec. 2 and the Rampage on Friday and Sunday.

The Silver and Black have four total contests against the IceHogs. San Antonio fell to Rockford 3-2 in overtime last week.

Wednesday, Dec. 6 vs. Rockford IceHogs AT&T Center, 4:00 p.m. (CT)

The Rampage have squared off against the IceHogs 41 times in franchise history, posting a 17-21-1-2 overall record. The past five years Rockford has had San Antonio's number, posting a 10-4-0-1 record. However, the Silver and Black have played well at home this season averaging 3.75 goals per game and converting on 7-of-34 power play opportunities (20.6%), which ranks seventh in the AHL. San Antonio is tied for the second in the league with two shorthanded goals.

STRONG STARTS: The Rampage are currently third in the AHL in fewest goals allowed in the first period. With only 12 goals allowed, the Silver and Black are be- hind the Albany Devils (8), and Ontario Reign (11). The fast starts by San Antonio have allowed them to post a 11-1-4-0 record when ahead or tied after the first period.

LENDING A HAND: Defenseman Maxim Noreau has tallied five goals and 11 assists this season. His 16 points rank sixth in total points by a defenseman in the AHL. Noreau has also been the anchor of the Rampage's power play and his four power play goals are tied for the most in the AHL by a defenseman. He ranks in a tie for the third for the most power play points by a defenseman with eight. In his sixth AHL season, Noreau is on pace to set career highs in goals, assists and points.

MILESTONES: Reaching significant milestones this week were Michael Schu- macher, Mat Clark and Marc-Andre Cliché. Schumacher recorded his 50th AHL/Pro point against the Rockford IceHogs on Nov. 25. Clark managed to knockout both his 50th Pro and AHL point against the Chicago Wolves on Nov. 28, while Cliché bagged his 100th Pro assist.

ICE CHIPS: Borna Rendulic - Rampage Right Wing

Borna Rendulic, 23, has been a pivotal part of the Rampage offense as of late. In the last four games Rendulic has recorded three goals and two assists, helping the Rampage sweep the Chicago Wolves on Friday and Saturday. His current point streak of four games and five points is ap- proaching Ben Street's streak which was at six games with 12 points before being recalled by the Colorado Avalanche. Rendulic also spent time with the Avalanche, opening up the season with the team and making three appearances before his reassignment to San Antonio. The Croatia native has recorded four goals and six assists on the season which has him on pace to set career highs in goals and total points in a season.
