In front of 3,904 at CommunityAmerica Ballpark, the Lincoln Saltdogs (2-2) pounded out 12 hits, leading to six runs, in a 6-1 win over the Kansas City T-Bones (2-2).

Lincoln started off the scoring early when Jorge Moreno bunted for a single and Bryan Warner followed it with a two-run shot, his third of the season.

T-Bones starter Jon McDonald settled down nicely after that, allowing only an unearned run in the third in his remaining five innings of work.

The T-Bones had plenty of chances, stranding eleven runners as well as leaving runners in scoring position in the second through eighth innings. But Saltdog starter Hideki Nagasaka was on in his five innings of work, striking out six in earning the win.

The T-Bones cut the Lincoln lead to 3-1 with a run-scoring fielder's choice by Ray Brown in the seventh, but Jorge Moreno hit a three-run homer to left in the top of the ninth against T-Bones reliever Wade Clark for the final margin.

The T-Bones take on the Schaumburg Flyers tomorrow night at 7:05 pm. Pete Rose will be appearing at CommunityAmerica Ballpark at the game, which will be televised live on Metro Sports and broadcast on All Comedy Radio 1340. Ralph McCasland will start for the T-Bones against Mike Ott of the Flyers in the first game of the four game set.
