Victoria Salmon Kings News Release

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today that the organization has signed center Chris St. Jacques (JOCKS).

The Salmon Kings claimed the 24-year-old off waivers from Stockton last week. He played in four games with Stockton this season. The fourth year pro has played 192 games in the AHL and ECHL.

"Chris is an offensive talent who plays with an edge," Head Coach Mark Morrison said. "We have been looking for a natural centerman for our roster, and Chris fits that description."

The 5-foot-8, 181-pound St. Jacques split time between both Columbia (ECHL) and Toronto (AHL) last season. The 24-year-old, Edmonton, AB native played five seasons with the Medicine Hat Tigers of the WHL.
