Salmon Kings Coulombe Gets Call From Moose

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today that defenseman Patrick Coulombe has been recalled by the Manitoba Moose of the AHL.

Coulombe joined the Salmon Kings at the beginning of the season after being assigned to Victoria from Manitoba. The 22-year-old is under contract to the Canucks, and played in 44 regular season games with the Moose last season where he contributed three goals and six assists for 22 points.

For the Salmon Kings this season Coulombe has played in five games contributing the overtime winning goal in the season opener versus the Idaho Steelheads.

The Salmon Kings roster now sits at 20 players (12 forwards, 6 defensemen and two goalies).
