Victoria Salmon Kings News Release
Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Manitoba Moose and Vancouver Canucks, announced today the introduction of the Hockey Shuffle promotion, where one fan is guaranteed to drive away in a brand new Cadillac SRX courtesy of Dave Wheaton GMC and the Times Colonist.
Four Salmon Kings home games have been set aside to give fans the opportunity to drive away in the Cadillac - Wednesday November 11, Saturday December 12, Saturday January 9 and Friday February 5. Four entrants will be selected for each home game to be given the chance to win.
At each designated game the four selected contestants will shoot from one faceoff circle and attempt to land the puck within the faceoff dot diagonally across the ice. If one contestant shoots the puck completely within the designated faceoff dot, they will drive away in the brand new Cadillac! Contestants will also be eligible for a secondary cash prize of $250 if the puck lands within the applicable faceoff circle.
If the Cadillac remains unclaimed by the Salmon Kings final home game on Saturday, April 3, ten random contestants drawn from all eligible entries will each receive one key to test on the vehicle. One fan will be in possession of the key to the Cadillac SRX and will drive the car home!
To enter the Hockey Shuffle contest for a chance at a brand new Cadillac, fans are asked to visit www.salmonkings.com, the Dave Wheaton GMC dealership, or pick up a copy of the Victoria Times Colonist.
The Salmon Kings open up a three-game weekend set this Wednesday, November 11th versus the Ontario game with games to follow on Friday, November 13th, and Saturday, November 14th. Individuals with valid Military ID can purchase a ticket to any game this series versus Ontario for $13 in advance, or $19 on game day. Saturday's game is Marty the Marmot's fourth birthday! The first 500 children into the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre will receive a Marty Birthday Goodie Bag, and fans will have the chance to have a piece of the mascot's birthday cake! Puck drop for all three matches is 7:05 p.m. For tickets, call 250-220-7777 or visit www.selectyourtickets.com.
