
Salmon Kings Announce A Series In November To Remember

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Manitoba Moose and Vancouver Canucks, announced today a plethora of promotions for this week's three game set versus Ontario. Headlining the promotions are a military ticket discount, the introduction of the Hockey Shuffle promotion, and festivities for Marty the Marmot's fourth birthday party.
As Remembrance Day approaches, the Salmon Kings are proud to announce a military ticket discount for all veterans and current military members for the three games this week versus Ontario. Individuals with valid Military ID can purchase a ticket for just $13 in advance or $19 on game day! Join the Royal Canadian Legion this Wednesday, November 11th for a moment of silence and a ceremonial puck drop prior to the game as we honour the brave men and women who have served our country.
Wednesday's game will also feature the first of five instalments of the Hockey Shuffle contest. Presented by the Salmon Kings, Dave Wheaton GMC and the Times Colonist four lucky individuals will have the chance to win a brand new Cadillac! The four individuals will be chosen through a random draw, which they entered by visiting www.salmonkings.com, filling out the ballot inside a copy of the Times Colonist or entering at Dave Wheaton Chevrolet Buick Cadillac GMC at 2627 Douglas Street.
TELUS and Tom Harris Cellular will also be on-hand at Wednesday's game to give one lucky fan a brand new Smartphone! Fans can enter to win the new phone by visiting the Times Colonist table in the main entrance of the concourse before the end of the second period.
Join Marty the Marmot and friends this Saturday, November 14th as the Salmon Kings mascot celebrates his fourth birthday! Mascots from all over Greater Victoria will be in attendance to help wish Marty a happy birthday! The first 500 children into the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre on Saturday will receive Marty birthday goodie-bags, so make sure to attend early! Fans will also have the opportunity to indulge in a piece of Marty's birthday cake!
On Friday, November 14th, C-FAX 1070 and the Vancouver Island Brewery will be on site at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre to provide the first 2000 fans in attendance with free Cheer Stix!
