Milwaukee Milkmen News Release
Chilly night at Routine Field for the series opener with the Saint Paul Saints. The night ended with a 2-0 loss on our Stranger Things theme Night celebrating Young Wisconsinites.
Milwaukee's only hit was managed by catcher Manny Boscan. The team ended the night with 4 men left on base. Though the bats didn't come through, the defense was there holding the Saints to 4 hits.
Starting pitcher, Angel Ventura (5-7, 2.65 ERA) went 7 innings, allowing 3 hits, 1 run, 5 walks, and 6 strikeouts, but ultimately walked away with the loss.
The Milkmen (27-40) continue their homestand against the Saint Paul Saints (42-26) tomorrow at 7:05 pm.
It's Ladies Night and Wine and Dine with Bo Vine, where you can have all you or eat and drink (beer and wine) with the purchase of a $35 ticket to Leinenkugel's Hop Yard. Join us at Routine Field! For more information, visit milwaukeemilkmen.com.
