ST. PAUL, MN (July 23, 2008) - Little-by-little we can all make a difference. The St. Paul Saints along with Ryan Companies and Parks & Rec will join together and help fix up Edgcumbe Park to make it a great place for the community and kids to play ball.

On Saturday, July 26 the front office staff, players and coaches of the Saints will join together and begin fixing up Edgcumbe Park and put together a baseball diamond. The Ryan Companies will donate the supplies and help the Saints staff with the park.

"The Ryan Companies has been a tremendous community partner with us in 2008 and with both the Saints and Ryan Companies focus on this area, the sky is the limit on what we can get done," said Saints Executive Vice President and General Manager Derek Sharrer. "There were many parks we considered and if all goes well with Edgcumbe Park, we will lend a helping hand at the others as well."

Along with the hard work put in by everyone Mudonna, the Saints two-legged mascot and Boarack Ohama, the Saints four-legged mascot, will appear at a special cookout celebration around 12:30 to commemorate this community event.

The project will begin at 8:00 a.m. and continue into the early afternoon before players and staff return to the ballpark for the evening's game against the Wichita Wingnuts at 7:05 p.m.
