Sacramento Kings Assign Hamady Ndiaye to the Reno Bighorns

RENO, NV, January 3, 2014 - The Sacramento Kings have assigned center Hamady Ndiaye (Ah-meh-dee enj-eye) to the Reno Bighorns for the second time this season.

The 7-foot center originally from Senegal, saw action in one game with the Reno Bighorns. During the team's home opener December 6, Ndiaye had 7 points (.500 FG%, .0 3pt%, .500 FT%), 7 rebounds, 4 block shots and 2 assists in 24 minutes.

With the Kings, Ndiaye is averaging 0.4 points (3-9 FG, 0-1 FT), 1.3 rebounds and 5.3 minutes per game in 14 appearances.

This was the fourth D-League team Ndiaye has been with, having played for the Dakota Wizards (2010-11), Maine Red Claws (2011-12) and Iowa Energy (2011-12).

Ndiaye is the second Kings player to be assigned to Reno this season after Ray McCallum played three games with the Bighorns from November 21-27.
