LINCOLN, NE -- Ryan Trytten allowed just 2 hits in his 7 innings of work as the Explorers were denied another chance at a 3 game winning streak as the Saltdogs topped Sioux City 6-3 Friday night at Haymarket Park.

The X's scored first in the top of the first on a infield single by Dustin Jones and a RBI single by Alex Llanos scoring Jones but that's all that Trytten would allow on this night.

The Saltdogs scored an unearned run in the 3rd on a RBI grounder from Jonny Kaplan off of Dusty Bergman and then Lincoln struck for 3 runs in the 4th and 2 more insurance runs in the 7th off of Bergman.
