Rush Sweep Weekend with 3-1 Win Over Jacks

ODESSA, TX - The Rapid City Rush swept a weekend set on the road against the Odessa Jackalopes with a 3-1 win on Saturday night at the Ector County Coliseum.

Konrad Reeder scored an empty-net goal for the rush with four seconds remaining in the contest to close the door on the win.

All the other scoring took place in the second period as Rapid City picked up goals from Ryan Menei and Vladamir Hartinger on the power play. Phil Plante scored Odessa's only goal in the contest.

Mike Ramsay added an assist on Plante's goal to extend his point streak to six games for the Jacks.

The loss was the second straight for the Jackalopes who fell to 19-17-5 on the season.

Odessa resumes its homestand on Tuesday when they host the Texas Brahmas at 7:05 PM CST. The action can be heard on Classic Rock 102.1 FM.
