
Rupert, Doornbosch Head to Binghamton

Wichita, KS- The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the Ottawa Senators and powered by Toyota, announced today that forward Ryan Rupert has been recalled to the American Hockey League's Binghamton Senators and defenseman Jamie Doornbosch has been loaned to the B-Sens. The team has also claimed forward Maxime St-Cyr off of waivers from Greenville.
Rupert, 22, was assigned to the Thunder on December 31st and has recorded 16 points (6g, 10a) in 19 games. The London, Ontario native is a former sixth round pick (#157 overall) of the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
Doornbosch, 27, heads to Binghamton for the second time this season. He has tallied 20 points (8g, 12a) in 27 games for the Thunder. The Richmond Hill, Ontario native was previously loaned to the Senators on Christmas Day and appeared in one game.
St-Cyr, 23, has played in 12 games this season for the Swamp Rabbits, collecting five points (2g, 3a). A native of St. Charles, Quebec, the 5-foot-7, 184-pound center tallied 15 points (9g, 6a) in 48 games during his rookie season with the Florida Everblades in 2015-16. Prior to turning pro, St-Cyr played four years in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League with the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies and Baie-Comeau where he piled up 203 points in 264 career games.
The Thunder remains at home on Wednesday, February 15th to face the Rapid City Rush at 7:05 p.m.
