TONIGHT:

The Solar Bears cap a set of three games in three days in the Palmetto State as they take the ice against the South Carolina Stingrays. Orlando's last outing at the North Charleston Coliseum was the first road game of the 2016-17 season, a 6-2 win back on Nov. 1. Orlando currently sits two points ahead of the Stingrays for third place in the South Division; with second place Greenville idle today, this game represents a chance to jump back into second place for the Solar Bears.

PERRY CLOSING IN ON HISTORY:

Joe Perry's goal on Saturday gave him 25 on the season - currently he stands in seventh place among ECHL goal scorers. More importantly, Perry is only two goals away from tying the franchise mark set by Mickey Lang in the 2013-14 season. Lang had 27 goals and added 23 assists in only 37 games with Orlando after being acquired in a midseason deal with the Fort Wayne Komets before going on to win ECHL MVP honors.

BUBELA BREAKS THROUGH:

Milos Bubela's first goal in a Solar Bears uniform came midway through the first period in last night's contest in Greenville. The forward has maintained an over a point-per-game pace since being acquired from the Wheeling Nailers, as he has logged 10 points (1g-9a) in nine games for Orlando.

FOUR IS THE MAGIC NUMBER:

Orlando's high-octane offense is 20-1-0-0 when recording four or more goals. Right now the Solar Bears are averaging 3.73 goals for per game, fifth in the league. The Stingrays, meanwhile, are surrendering a league-low 2.83 goals against per game.
