Cincinnati Jungle Kats News Release
CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Jungle Kats announced today that they have partnered with the Rudi Johnson Foundation by hosting a free football clinic this Saturday at U.S. Bank Arena from 10am-1pm. The doors to the arena will open at 9:15am, and media members are encouraged to arrive shortly thereafter. Registration for the clinic is still open by logging on to www.RudiJohnsonFoundation.org/index.html.
During the event, attendees will participate in several offensive and defensive stations, kicking clinics, and classroom training sessions. Rudi Johnson and his mother will both be keynote speakers at the clinic, which is one of many events that the Rudi Johnson Foundation and the Cincinnati Jungle Kats will participate in throughout the year in order to give back to the Cincinnati Community. Jungle Kats coaches and players will also be available throughout the day for interviews, autographs, and pictures.
The Rudi Johnson Foundation is a 501c3 non profit charity formed exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. The Foundation is an outgrowth of the desire of All- Pro Running Back, #32, Rudi Johnson to give back to the community and promote the well being of its citizens through collaboration with other agencies and direct assistance to individual efforts to reach and maintain self sufficiency. The concept was developed in partnership with similar non profits, local officials, community members, neighborhood schools and recruited board members. Generally the foundation strives to uplift the community through education, entrepreneurship, and housing support.
The Kats will take the same field later that evening, as they take on the Tennessee Valley Vipers at 7:30pm. Great seats are still available by calling 513.381.TURF or online at www.JungleKatsFootball.com. Fans can hear all the action on 1530 HOMER - The Sports Animal beginning at 7:15pm.
