
Blitz Ranked Ninth in Week Seven Coaches Poll

BAKERSFIELD, CA - After dropping their second straight game this season, the Bakersfield Blitz (3-2) slid to 9th in the Week 7 Top 16 Coaches Poll.
This Saturday, the Blitz travel to Washington to take on the defending ArenaCup champions, the Spokane Shock (3-2), who are ranked 10th in this week's poll. The last time these two teams met was in the playoffs in 2006. The Blitz lead much of that game, but the Shock came back to win, 50-47, in the closing seconds that afternoon.
