Gerald Harris was a member of the 2006 American Conference Championship Team. Harris played in 8 games and caught 22 passes for 278 yards and 6 touchdowns. He averaged 55.4 yards per game. Harris was also a key member to a Blizzard defense who ranked 4th in scoring defense and rushing defense in the af2 last season.

Harris also played in 8 games in 2005. He caught 35 passes for 403 yards and 10 touchdowns. He averaged 50.4 yards per game. The Blizzard made their first playoff appearance and finished the season at 9-7 overall in 2005.

Harris began his pro career in 2000 with the Tennessee Titans. He later played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Prior to joining the NFL he played his college ball for the University of Washington Huskies where he caught 68 passes for 938 yards and 8 touchdowns in 1999.

"He is a great receiver. It is a great time for Gerald to come in and step up," comments Blizzard Head Coach Doug Lytle on Harris.

Harris looks to bring leadership and experience to the Blizzard. Harris has been a member of the Blizzard for both of their playoff runs in '05 and '06. The team looks to build on their ArenaCup7 appearance in 2006 with the addition of Harris.

The Blizzard returns home this Friday, May 11th to face the Tri-Cities Fever. This game highlights 2nd Annual J.J. Keller Foundation High School Tug of War Challenge. Along with the Tug of War Challenge, Piggly Wiggly and Sargento Food are having a "Stomp Out Hunger" Food Drive. Piggly Wiggly, Sargento Food and the Green Bay Blizzard encourage all fans to donate nonperishable food items as they enter the Resch Center.
