Cincinnati Jungle Kats News Release
CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Jungle Kats play their final two games of their inaugural season away from U.S. Bank Arena, beginning this Friday night when they will take on the Quad City Steamwheelers at 8:30pm from the MARK of the Quad Cities. The Jungle Kats dropped their first and only meeting with Quad City in Week 1, 81-21.
The Jungle Kats are still in search of their second victory of the season and an end to their nine-game losing streak. Only the 2002 Mobile Wizards and 2001 Columbus Wardogs have had longer losing streaks. Incidentally, each of those teams finished 0-16 in their respective seasons.
After spending the entire season at the top of the Midwest Division standings, Quad City finds itself fighting to stay in the playoff race. Currently in a three-way tie for the top spot, the Steamwheelers would lose both tie-breakers to Green Bay and Louisville, leaving them in the 7th place spot out of 8 playoff teams if the postseason began today.
Fans can hear all the action of Friday's game on 1530 HOMER - The Sports Animal beginning at 7:15pm or watch the game live via the B2 Network at www.JungleKatsFootball.com.
